De petits ruisseaux descendent de St Laurent et rejoignent La Gance quelques centaines de mètres avant sa confluence avec le Taurion. Dans le bois, bordé à l’ouest de petites falaises, les ruisseaux qui coulent entre les racines sonnent clairement.
Small brooks go down from St Laurent and join La Gance a few hundred meters before its junction with Taurion. In the wood, bordered in the west of small cliffs, the brooks which run between the roots sound clearly.

Le 23 avril 2006, dans la longue queue de la retenue de la Roche-Talamie, vers Murat ; après les crues de la fin mars, les boues sèchent et forment des croûtes qui craquent sous les pas ; tout autour, les oiseaux s’en donnent à coeur joie.
On April 23, 2006, in the long tail of the reserve of the Roche-Talamie, towards Murat; after the risings of end of March, muds dry and form crusts which crack under the steps; around, the birds are given some to heart joy.
